ITINERARY


Day 01 : Bangalore
Upon arrival our representative will greet you at Bangalore Airport/Railway Station. Reach & Check- in at the hotel and relax for a while amidst the comforts of your room. Later proceed for the sightseeing of Bangalore. The major tourist attractions are Vidhana Soudha, a magnificent building of the Neo-Dravidian style which houses the State Legislature. Ulsoor Lake is ideal for rowing around in a boat or to sprawl on the green grass that surrounds the lake. One can sit and relax on the small islands that are on the lake. Lalbagh, is famous for its unique achievement in nurturing the concept of horticulture and aiding the development of horticulture. Cubbon Park - the uppermost attractions are the marble statues of Queen Victoria and Edward VII.

Day 02 : Bangalore – Mysore (140 kms - 04 hrs.)
Enjoy the sumptuous breakfast. Later proceed to Mysore the land with numerous domes, towers and battlements; it is sheer luxury in the form of a palace. Enroute visit Srirangapatanam where one can see the spectacular island fortress of Srirangapatnam, the capital of Hyder Ali and his son Tippu Sultan. Other attractions at Srirangapatnam are Daria Doulata – Tippu Sultan’s Summer Palace & Gumbuz – Tippu’s Mausoleum. Reach & check-in at the hotel & relax for a while amidst the comforts of your room.

Day 03 : Mysore
Enjoy the sumptuous breakfast. Later proceed to visit the sprawling Maharaja’s Palace with its outstanding treasures and ivory inlaid doors. Having splendid affair with intricate carvings on the huge palatial doors should not be missed on any account. It is lavishly decorated with stained glasses, mirrors, pillars, paintings and jewels. Also visit St. Philomena’s Church, a beautiful Cathedral reminiscent of Medieval Architecture with stained glass Windows and lofty Towers. Mysore Zoo, one of the oldest zoos in the country was established in 19th century and houses many endangered species. Later drive outside the city to Chamundi Hills to visit huge Nandi Bull statue. Explore your evening by proceeding to Brindavan Gardens which is one of its kind in the country and located 19 kms from Mysore. The World Famous Terrace Gardens with Musical Fountains which gets transformed into a dreamland by night with swirling waters, colourful lights and melodious music that comes alive once the sun sets. This ornamental garden is situated at the base of Krishnaraja Sagar dam across Cauvery River.

Day 04 : Mysore - Coorg (120 kms. – 04 hrs.)
Enjoy the sumptuous breakfast. Later proceed to Coorg, a picturesque hilly district, located in the state of Karnataka. Coorg is famous for oranges & coffee plantations. The town reflects an old world charm and is famous for undulating hills, garrulous rivers and is home to some of the finest tourist attractions. Reach & check-in at the hotel & relax for a while amidst the comforts of your room. The major tourist attractions are mesmerizing Abbey Falls. Later proceed to the Raj’s Seat from where you can enjoy panoramic views.

Day 05 : Coorg
Enjoy the sumptuous breakfast with the new sunrise. Later proceed to see other attractions of Coorg. Talcauvery (the origin point of River Cauvery) and Bhagamandala (the point where Cauvery assumes the shape of a river). Later proceed to the ancient temple, Omkareshwara which was built in 1860. Proceed to Madikeri town in the evening and enjoy shopping for honey, coffee and spices as souvenirs of your tour.

Day 06 : Coorg – Wayanad (80 kms. – 03 hrs.)
Enjoy the sumptuous breakfast. Later proceed to Wayanad. Check-in & and relax for a while amidst the comforts of your room. Later proceed to the scenic Chembra Peak which is sure to rejuvenate any tired soul and make for a thrilling experience. Explore the rest of the day at your own leisure.

Day 07 : Wayanad
Enjoy the sumptuous breakfast. Later proceed to enjoy the greenery & waterfalls of Wayanad. The places of attractions are Pookot Lake & Soochipara WaterFalls. Boating in the Pookot Lake is a memorable experience. Tall trees and dense forests that line along the pathway around the lake provide a visual treat. Soochipara Falls the natural scenic beauty of Wayanad and its rich natural resources offer several opportunities for adventure tourism. Banasura Sagar Dam, the 02nd largest earth dam in Asia where Speed boats are also available. Edakkal caves where etchings are found on the walls have drawn serious attention of archeologists and historians worldwide. Other sightseeing places are Pakshipathalam & Meenmutty Water Falls

Day 08 : Wayanad - Ooty (120 kms. – 04 hrs.)
Enjoy the sumptuous breakfast. Later proceed to Ooty, the land where green mountains and azure sky roll down to embrace quivering beds of crimson roses below. Day 09 : Ooty
Enjoy the sumptuous breakfast. Later proceed for the sightseeing of Coonoor, the place surrounded by the tea plantations. The major attractions are Pasteur Institute, just opposite to the Sim's Park, established in 1907. Sim's Park is the place where individual tree specimens are planted all over the place, giving a special charm to the park. This beautiful park is situated in a deep ravine and has eight major sections. The winding footpaths spreaded all over the park is the most distinctive and lovable feature of this park. Lamb's Rock is 08 kms. from Coonoor and on the way to Dolphin's Nose. It commands a grand view of the Coimbatore Plains. Laws Falls is a beautiful picnic spot, situated at Coonoor-Mettupalayam road at a distance of 07 kms. from Coonoor. The height of the falls is about 180 feets. It is just a paradise for Nature lovers.

Day 10 : Ooty – Munnar (240 kms. – 07 hrs.)
Enjoy the sumptuous breakfast. Later proceed to Munnar, the place where the unfolded green carpet is waiting for you. Munnar is breathtakingly beautiful, a haven of peace and tranquility - the idyllic tourist destination in God's own country. Munnar is the gateway of Hills in South India. Day 11 : Munnar
Enjoy the sumptuous breakfast. Later proceed for a morning sightseeing trip of Munnar; visiting the Eravikulam National Park where you can see the very rare mountain goats locally called the Nilgiri Tahr, visit Mattupetty Dam which offers many fascinating sights to relish. The Shola forests around Mattupetty are ideal for trekking and bird watching, with the variety of birds found there. Kundala is a picturesque town located at the confluence of three mountain streams namely Mudrapuzha, Nallathanni and Kundala. Enroute visit Echo Point, View Point & green carpet of Tea Gardens.

Day 12 : Munnar – Thekkady (110 kms. – 03 hrs.)
Enjoy the sumptuous breakfast. Later proceed to Thekkady which offers diverse attractions like Wildlife Sanctuary, Hill Station and Spice Plantation. Natures own little hideout nestled in the hills of Thekkady. Reach & check-in at the hotel and relax for a while amidst the comforts of your room. Visit the local spice market for some garden fresh spices and handicrafts.

Day 13 : Thekkady
Enjoy the sumptuous breakfast. Later proceed to the most attractive feature of Thekkady i.e. Periyar Wild life Sanctuary. The place where one can go for a Wildlife cruise to view a large variety of wildlife like Wild Elephants, Nilgiri Langur, Sambar Deer, Wild Bison, Wild Boar etc, and quite a lot of unique birds can also be spotted. Day 14 : Thekkady - Kumarakom (130 kms. – 03 hrs.)

Day 15 : Kumarakom

Day 16 : Houseboat
Enjoy the sumptuous breakfast. Later proceed to the boat Jetty to board the beautifully decorated houseboats and begin the enchanting backwater cruising. Varkala, a calm and quiet hamlet, lies on the outskirts of Thiruvananthapuram district. The secluded beach, craggy rocks and the hint of undulating backwaters. With the backdrop of rocky cliffs Varkala Beach provides a perfect contrast to the lapping waves. Papanasam Beach is among the prominent places of Varkala Beach. Day 18 : Varkala
Enjoy the sumptuous breakfast. Later proceed for the sightseeing of 2000 yrs. old Janardhana Temple. The temple of Janardhana is a fine example of Kerala art and architecture and is dedicated to Lord Vishnu. Sivagiri Mutt is a religious site, founded by Sree Narayana Guru (1856 – 1952), the famous philosopher and social reformer of modern Kerala. Kappil Lake gives way to the pictorial world of the Kerala backwaters. The scenic beauty of the estuaries of the lake is mesmerizing.

Day 19 : Varkala - Kovalam (55 kms. - 01½ hrs.)
Enjoy the sumptuous breakfast. Later proceed to Kovalam beach. Kovalam is known as the "Paradise of the South". Day 20 : Kovalam – Trivandrum – Kovalam
Enjoy the sumptuous breakfast. Later proceed for the sightseeing of Trivandrum. Thiruvananthapuram literally means Ananthapuri, "the city of Ananthan", the Thiru (Great/Lord) Ananthan's Puram (City). Ananthan is the serpent Sesha on whom Padmanabhan or Vishnu reclines. The temple of Anantha, the Sri Padmanabhaswamy temple is the most religious icon of the city. Other sightseeing places are Kuthiramalika Palace Museum, the name Kuthiramalika means 'palace of horses' derived from the frieze of 122 wooden horses on the exterior walls. Veli Tourist Village, which has an excellent waterfront park with a wide range of aqua entertainment facilities like fishponds, wading pools and landscaped garden. Shangumugham Beach where one can watch the amazing sunset.

Day 21 : Kovalam - Trivandrum (16 kms. – 45 mins.)
